As affiliate marketers and spammers wrestle it out in the Myspace for your hits, clicks and email addresses, the escalation of “fake profiles” used to exploit the system seems to be on the rise – do you ever wonder how many of the purported 90 million plus users are in fact real?http://www.profilepitstop.com/articles/myspace/myspace-to-punish-the-beejesus-out-of-spammers.php

Just in time for the last game of the NBA playoffs (maybe), I have created a few new layouts for the NBA, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers.
Of late, as I've been putting together my new MySpace Layout site, I began noticing that most all of my layouts are broken. Looking further, it's always images that were hosted on Photobucket that are broken. Some had exceeded their bandwidth (the popular layouts), others were simply gone, others were replaced with a noticed that the image violated their terms of service (they don't specifically mention which term). Never once, did Photobucket ever tell me they were removing the images. In many cases, I can't figure out why they violate their terms of service.
I tried posting in the Photobucket forums. First of all, you can't use your regular photobucket account to post in their forums, you have to create a second account to do this. Then after I created the 2nd account, I couldn't post anyway and after numerous attempts, I simply gave up.
I had similar problems with ImageShack. They were removing my photos also because of terms of service violations. After asking why they violated their terms, they investigated, couldn't find a reason and re-enabled the photos. Then a month later, they were removed again for terms of service violations. I gave up on them and moved to Photobucket. Now, I have to move again.
I just completed the finishing touches on the MySpace Layout Store. It's a website where you can search for MySpace layouts. I transferred all the layouts from this blog to the new site. I'm also going to create both a layout previewer and editor.
Edwin R. Hall, the 26-year-old who is charged with the murder of Kelsey Smith, may have had a MySpace page (see link). It has since been removed. Details follow.
